- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After having eye problems for a while now, I was referred to this office to see Dr. Oppenheim. My appointment was at 1:50. I got to the office at about 1:20 in hopes of getting in a little early so I could get to work on time. However, I wasn't called in until around 2:20. After moving from one waiting room to another, I ended up just getting in to see the doctor at 3:45 ish. When he finally came in, he took one look at my eyes, dismissed it as a simple problem, gave me a pamphlet instead of explaining, and began to write a prescription. He would have been in there for no more than 5 minutes if I hadn't stopped him and demanded that he actually read my chart and listen to my symptoms. He has a terrible bedside manner and was just rude and uncaring. So I still have my eye problem and needless to say, I didn't make it to work on time.October 20, 2017by Kirsten Harris
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had an appointment yesterday at 1:00 and was called back around 1:45. There is always a waiting room full of people. I had to sign some papers about a new procedure, I believe it is called refraction. It stated if you have to have it the insurance would not cover it. When I got ready to check out the lady told me it would be $72. I ask why so much. She said $40 was copay and $32 was the test that insurance wouldn't cover. I ask could you refuse the test (that I wasn't even told was being done) she said it's part of your check up. She was as rude as could be, not even saying thank you. If this is part of the exam I didn't see anything different than before and why wouldn't the insurance cover it. The technician was good and I really didn't have any problems with the doctor but I am going to be going somewhere else.
